Car Wash to Benefit the Westerly Animal Shelter

Date: Saturday, October 8th , 2011
Time: 9-2 pm
Location: 33 Larry Hirsch Lane

Shelter volunteers hosted a car wash to benefit the Friends of Westerly Animal Shelter.  $655 was raised towards the purchase of dog flaps for our shelter.  These flaps are crucial during the excessive heat during the summer and the extreme cold of winter that is just around the corner. Kennel flaps will help to maintain a comfortable temperature within the kennel, while allowing the dogs access to the outdoors.
